In the segment Dawne interviews SOS President & CEO Melissa Mershon and Dr. Kelly Faber, who is working with SOS to bring health and hope to Togo. Dr. Kelly Farber, who spent part of her career with Lousiville’s Kosair Children’s Hospital, now works with Hôpital Baptiste Biblique in Tsiko, Togo.
According to Dr. Faber, “It’s a sad thing to have to choose to use items on one patient versus another based upon availability… organizations like SOS make our work possible. It wouldn’t be possible without [them].”
