Last September a large delegation from Niger that included the Prime Minister visited the SOS warehouse. Finally that visit has begun to result in the delivery of health and hope!
So far this month SOS has delivered three containers to Niger (all in the span of one crazy calendar week!), and this morning our friends from Niger are here to finalize what materials will be sent out in a FOURTH container that will be shipped to their country later this month. This represents a huge leap forward in SOS’s goal to continue to send out more materials and sustainably reach reach the medically impoverished communities we hope to help.
80% of Niger is covered in desert, and the country’s Human Development Index consistently ranks among the lowest in the world.
